Zero energy new-build project

Background

Groevenbeek Noord is the first zero-energy project in the Netherlands in this price category, of this size and using this energy concept. All energy is generated and used via sustainable solutions; at the end of the year it’s possible to have zero energy consumption charges.  Libra Cleantech Projects supported Van Wijnen (building company) and Greenteq Solutions (installer) on this project.

Challenge

The solar systems on the roofs of the homes were mounted using the GSE In-roof system. The roof window was adjusted to the dimensions of the In-roof system. With the right adjustments it was possible to cover the roof with solar modules and have enough space for a window which brought daylight into the houses.

Results

Greenteq Soutions insalled the 39 solar systems. The technological calculations ensured that the houses are well-connected and that the GSE system was installed correctly with integrated roof windows.  Libra Cleantech Projects was present during each building meeting to give advise.
