Save up to 45 minutes on your installation with the Wallbox P1 Port. This compact translation module is quick, easy to install, and takes up far less space than a traditional energy meter.
The Wallbox P1 Port unlocks all smart features of your Wallbox charger and is easily installed thanks to its direct connection to the smart meter via DIN rail mounting. No need to cut any power cables. With its compact size of just 90 x 18 x 65 mm, it fits perfectly into meter cabinets with limited space.
How to Install the Wallbox P1 Port
The P1 Port can be installed in just 3 steps. First, mount the P1 Port on the DIN rail. Then, connect the meter’s RJ12 connector to the Wallbox P01 metering solution. Make sure the device is powered via the +5V from the P1 port of the connected smart meter. If this is not available, the P1 Port can optionally be powered by an external adapter connected to the DC power interface. Once installation is complete and the charger is configured, check the LED indicators on the P1 Port:
- Yellow = the P1 Port is powered
- Green = P1 data received with correct CRC
- Red = valid Modbus request received. If blinking: data received but no valid Modbus request
The Wallbox P1 Module functions as a Load Balancing module and enables the use of Eco-Smart and Power Boost features. This compact tool is compatible with Wallbox Pulsar Plus, Pulsar Max, Commander 2/2s, and Copper SB, and works with both single- and three-phase installations. The WALL-MTR-P1PORT interface uses an RJ12 6-pin connector.
