EV Optimiser Business 80A

The EV Optimiser Business is specially designed for EVBox charging stations to enable dynamic load balancing. EV Optimiser Business 80A is compatible with 3 x 80A grid connections and can be used with up to six charging points.

The EV0000-00380 is supplied complete with:

• Set of 3 current transformers
• 2 x 4-pin RS485 connectors
• 1 x 2-pin 12v power adapter
• Horizontal mounting bracket

Please note! The EV Optimiser Business requires current transformers to operate.

Installing the EV Optimiser Business with current transformers

First shut off the power to the fuse box. Then open the fuse box and determine where the three current transformers will exit the box. Now unscrew the wires of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd phases and route the current transformers around the wires. Make sure the transformer matches with the right phase wire! Now mount the bracket for the EV Optimiser on the wall near the fuse box. Click the EV Optimiser into the bracket and insert the current transformer plug into the appropriate port. Then insert the 2 wires from 1 of the wire pairs of the SF-UTP cable into the orange plug and connect it to the RS485 port of the EV Optimiser. The wires must match the wires connected to the modem in the charging station. Finally, connect the 12V power adapter to the connector on the EV Optimiser and plug in to the mains. The LED lights at the bottom will turn on if the EV Optimiser has been properly installed.
