Monier Wakaflex anthracite (370mm)

Wakaflex is a universal lead replacement flashing and a perfect alternative for connections between traditional roofing materials. It has excellent sealing properties and is extremely durable, creating a smooth, windproof overlap with the roofing tiles. This product is particularly suitable for use with In-Roof PV systems.

Features of Monier Wakaflex

  • Material: PIB (polyisobutylene) with an underlayer of anodised – tension-free – aluminium mesh. Two butyl adhesive strips on the underside. PIB is harmless to the environment, 100% recyclable and contains no toxic substances.
  • Easy to install: Wakaflex is some 30 to 50% faster to shape and install than traditional roofing materials.
  • Can be easily shaped by hand. The only tools required are a standard pair of scissors and optionally a roller.
  • Because the material is vulcanised, it merges with the adhesive strip on the roof tiles, making it unnecessary to heat the joint or use welding or bonding agents.
