How do you get more out of your roof with JA Solar LR D40 & D41 solar modules?

With the introduction of the JA Solar LR series, JA Solar focuses fully on maximizing roof yield. This series is available in the D40 and D41 variants and is specifically developed for installations where every square meter counts. By choosing monofacial N-type technology, all efficiency is concentrated on the front side of the panel, exactly where the most sunlight is captured on a roof. The result is a high nominal power per module and therefore more energy from the same roof area.

Features of the JA Solar LR series

The strength of the LR series lies in the high yield per square meter of roof area, partly thanks to module efficiency of up to 23.3%. The low degradation of N-type technology ensures stable long-term performance, while the glass-glass construction contributes to additional durability and reliability. With a 25-year product warranty and a strong environmental rating through NMD category 1, these panels are a future-proof choice for roof installations where performance is key.

Built for performance and service life

The LR panels combine performance with durability. The glass-glass construction provides additional mechanical strength, improved fire safety and a longer service life. The panels are listed in category 1 of the Nationale Milieudatabase and are supplied with a 25-year product warranty.

Thanks to the N-type cell technology with very low LID (light induced degradation), degradation remains limited and the panels deliver stable performance over the years. In combination with a favorable temperature coefficient and strong performance under low irradiance, these panels operate reliably in different climate zones and under varying conditions.

What they have in common technically

Both modules use N-type monofacial cells with 108 cells and a robust glass-glass construction. They are equipped with an IP68 junction box and MC4-EVO2 connectors, contributing to reliable operation under various conditions. The dimensions are identical at 1762 by 1134 by 30 mm and the weight is 22 kg. Technically they are therefore very similar; the main difference lies in maximum power or aesthetics.

The D40 variant usually offers slightly higher power, on average around 5 Wp more than the D41 within the same product generation. This model is supplied in a black-white version. The D41 is the all black version with a black frame. Its power is typically slightly lower than the D40, while the technical foundation and performance remain comparable.

If you want to maximize yield from your roof area without compromising on reliability and service life, the JA Solar D40 and D41 LR modules are a solid choice. Select the model that fits your project and achieve more power from every installation. Order them directly and take the next step towards higher roof performance.
