How do I use the ValkCableCare Calculator?
Do you want to quickly and accurately calculate which cable tray solution you need? With the ValkCableCare Calculator, you can set up a complete project in just a few steps, including a bill of materials. Below you can see how it works.
Start by filling in the form in the ValkCableCare CalculatorOpens in a new tab and then click on Start calculation. Create a new project and choose Add section to begin.
- Step 1:
Select whether the project involves a flat or pitched roof.
- Step 2:
Determine the correct wire mesh cable tray by selecting the height and width, and choose the type of connector.
- Step 3:
Choose the mounting method. Several options are available, supported by images and additional information. Then indicate whether you want a single or double row and define the support spacing.
- Step 4:
This step focuses on finishing. Enter how many meters of wire mesh cable tray you need. Choose whether to add a cover and/or divider. You can also optionally select components with special connectors, such as bends.
Once everything is complete, finalize the project and click on Generate bill of materials. You can download this in various file formats to easily share with, for example, Libra Energy or directly with your customer. Finally, you also have the option to apply a discount percentage to your calculation.
