Fronius Retrofit DC SPD Type 1+2
The Retrofit DC SPD Type 1+2 is suitable for use with Fronius Symo GEN24 and Fronius Primo GEN24 inverters (all power classes). This allows the installation to comply with the standard requiring DC surge protection to be installed close to the inverter.
The Retrofit DC SPD Type 1+2 can be used in the same way for all devices, regardless of whether 1 or 2 trackers are in use. If only one tracker is used, one input of the surge protection device remains unused.
Thanks to the configurable integrated remote signalling function, the system user is automatically notified via the Fronius Solar.web online portal when the Retrofit DC SPD Type 1+2 is activated.
The Retrofit DC SPD Type 1+2 is supplied as a retrofit kit and can be installed in the connection area of the inverter within just a few minutes.
