Libra Energy and Solis: a strong partnership, even in technical challenges

Libra Energy has been working closely with Solis for many years, one of our key suppliers and service partners. Our Technical Support Manager Wiebe explains: “This relationship is so strong that we almost consider Solis part of the family.” Thanks to short communication lines and a strong working relationship, we can respond quickly to technical challenges. We actively collaborate on solutions and ensure we are always ready to support each other in order to react swiftly and effectively.

Our Technical Support team maintains a close relationship with Erik Eken and Dave van Pelt from Solis Benelux. Together, for example, we worked on restoring a large-scale installation at our parent company Rensa. This type of collaboration demonstrates how flexible and solution-oriented our network truly is.

Service partnership

Our extensive service stock plays a crucial role in ensuring fast and reliable support. Warranty cases can therefore be handled within a very short time frame, directly improving customer satisfaction. The strong relationship with Solis, built on trust and mutual support, enables us to act quickly and efficiently.

In situations where technical assistance is required, such as troubleshooting a Solis product, we step in to support our customers and relieve our partners whenever necessary.

The challenge

Last month provided another recent example of this successful collaboration. Our Technical Support Specialist Job explains how, together with installation partner Koleff Solar and on behalf of Compleet Duurzaam, he resolved an installation issue at the solar energy system of a sports complex.

“It concerned the commissioning of a Solis EPM (Export Power Manager) in combination with multiple Solis inverters,” Job explains. The challenge was to fully install and commission a system consisting of one Solis EPM5G-Plus and four Solis S5-3P-15K inverters.

Our Technical Support Specialist was on-site to resolve technical issues and ensure proper system commissioning. This included checking the AC, DC and communication cabling, completing the mechanical installation, and optimizing the software configuration and settings of both the Solis EPM and the inverters.

Results and satisfaction

Thanks to the joint efforts, the project was successfully completed. “Within a limited timeframe, we were able to make a significant contribution to delivering a properly functioning Solis solar energy system together with the installation partner,” our Technical Support Specialist explains.

Installation partner Koleff Solar also gained valuable hands-on experience through the collaboration with our technical team. The satisfaction of both the sports complex owner and Compleet Duurzaam highlights the strength of our partnership with Solis and other partners.
